I am sitting in deep gratitude today for my sound bowl and recent instruments I have bought for my sound healing journey Being chronically ill with many conditions, a lot of my income goes into my healthcare / needs, medical bills, life bills and basic survival needs. Being able to have any extra money to put into me, is everything. Recently I have put extra money into, new instruments. 💛 I have used them everyday and have watched myself break open in so many emotions playing them I first experienced the power of these instruments at a holotropic breathwork event a few years ago where for the first time, I released deep emotion in my body in this event. I cried harder and actually had my body, shake open. The instruments, guided me to safety. To feeling strength to carry on. And in them, I was able to in that experience and now day to day as i have been using them on my own. 💛 Living, managing and working day to day to heal from PTSD / trauma has been a scary, awakening journey. It has changed me, deeply. It has also pulled my truth out of me. My needs. My boundaries. These instruments have allowed me to express when I don’t have the words some days. When I am numb. Playing them, brings out something in me. They allow me to re regulate my nervous system and body when I am deeply out of it in a traumatic state. They have been the greatest gift to me. 💛 I am looking to continue adding to my collection so I can hold full sound healing appts and spaces for trauma healing for others to feel the power I. This medicine. I also am wanting to hold full virtual events in sound healing for all here and in work. My body has had some major physical changes to it over the years due to all of my surgeries and conditions and my major bypass surgery in 2014 which left me, stripped from my body and all I knew it to be For years, I did the opposite of thank my body. I hated my body for the new way I was supposed to love it. ( I hated this photo when I first took it, despite loving it and my genuine smile. The way my body looked, I couldn’t love it) Until I broke down and realized, all it wants is to be loved in all of its versions. I want to love it, in all that it is.
