I trained at Platinum Gym in Birmingham today and loved it. All of the equipment is old school, from back in the day, and is very well maintained. It’s so nice to come across a gym that isn’t a franchise and is all about bodybuilding. 😍
It reminds me of where I started my bodybuilding journey. Iv been used to training in a ‘spit and sawdust’ environment, listening to the clang of weight plates and dumbbells, so today brought back fond memories. 😊

When the gyms were closed over the pandemic I decided to get rid of my sofas, coffee tables, etc - - everything ditched in order to have the space to train. So I no longer have a lounge - in its place, a gym 😁😁😁

Before I started bodybuilding I was very skinny, 56kgs. I’m now 85kgs and I wouldn’t want it to be any other way. I love being more ‘curvy’ with muscle. Aesthetically I think women look fantastic when they pack muscle 💪😊😊

Favourite time of the day for me is setting off to the gym. It’s spring time in the Uk so the weather is milder in Cornwall now - so any opportunity to wear shorts I take it! It’s not quite warm enough to have the guns out though. Few more weeks I reckon and it will be warm enough to lose the jumper!
