Ayem Ketawa hatching.... better known as Laughing Chicken 🐔 they should look like the third pic as adults. We also have goslings hatching but haven't got pics yet
This is really cool! We took the littles to an antique shop and this radio made from miscellaneous objects was on display...it actually picks up stations!!! 😍
What is your view? It's been sweltering hot here but you can't beat incredible blue skies for miles! I helped a rancher put in some fence last week by driving the tractor.... Easy enough. He's been helping put in my fence in his spare time....oh, wait! Ranchers don't have spare time! 😬😭🤣
Got out of the house Friday for a chiro appointment and hit the jackpot at a favorite store!! Perfect timing...heatwave for a new bikini top! BTW, you know those internet sensation leggings that are supposed to make butts look fantastic!? I found a pair and tried them on ....heck no! They are definitely not for everyone 😜 regular leggings look alright so posted those for ya 💞 and yes, I scored 3 volumes of the 50 shades series!! 😈
Some farmness from the homestead...since everyone makes up words now...😂🤷💞 So many cute little ones, so many exciting things happening...from goose eggs to oyster mushrooms to our first sheep's milk and freeze drying banana puree!
Trying to decide how I feel about yellow...I think I love it!! Kinda hippie vibe dress. Not my usual style but it's growing on me. Got a Julia Roberts facial expression going on in those first two, what do you think? Looks good with those dangle wood earrings!
A wedding in the family this fall so I was surfing for dresses...came across some interesting finds...😜 The last one is gorgeous IMHO 😍 If you tipped or purchased PPV'S last month, check your inbox 💕
Besides cute babies, we've had more new arrivals... something I've wanted to add to the homestead for forever!!! Can you guess? I also added these adorable cast iron pieces, a couple cookbooks and the girls are delighted with these vintage dolls! It was a long, exhausting but productive week...so this week I'm taking it a little easier 😊💞
This feller isn't so little anymore...next week we say goodbye. I tried to tempt him with some homemade cornbread but apparently grass is better than my baking... maybe I should have brought him a blueberry muffin?
He's so tiny and cute!!! I can almost pick him up with one hand...now I understand how people get addicted to these little critters, kinda like Oreo cookie ice cream 💞😂
Some of the unique clouds we've seen recently and a close-up of my boot for size comparison on the utility poles that are being replaced from the storm last week.
Mini cheesecakes for an event this past weekend, and made from scratch pizza dough for our artesian pizzas. Did I mention I love my job!? 😋🥰 Or maybe I just love GOOD FOOD!??!
My day went from gravel to grass seed... Hopefully we'll crowd out some of these thistles with a Timothy and Orchard grass pasture blend. Lil Anne is not impressed that I took a break...she wants her bottle now! 😂🍼 Little hooves pawing to get my attention, then nibbling on clothes and toes.
Lambing season has officially ended...last set of twins arrived this weekend! I'm slacking!! So much to do I keep forgetting to grab pictures and post! April fans who purchased or tipped...watch your inbox tomorrow! 😘💞
It's been quite busy the last couple weeks... New lambs and lots of other cute babies. I'm finally back in jeans and back to the grind. Mama sheep doesn't want her little black sheep...imagine that! 😂😂😂 So I get to go out every few hours and distract her so the lamb can nurse. The lambs are staying in a crate in mama's pen so she can hopefully bond with both. Now it's time to catch a shower before crashing and another early morning! Hope you enjoy all the cuteness!
Nothing quite like fresh ground whole wheat flour turned into fresh baked bread 😋🍞 One of the best sources of vitamin E, B vitamins, and an important type of fiber. Store bought "whole wheat" flour and products do not provide these.
Lambing has commenced! I milked out some first milk (colostrum) just in case we need it, and to get the ewe used to milking. My first time milking a sheep! 😁 Didn't seem much different than a goat. Sheep milk is very popular for cheese so I'm excited with the prospect of making my own cheese soon.
