I'll be running in no time! Great news from OR.. I cut my non weight bearing time down by 2 weeks! This truly shows what a healthy diet does for the body. Here's are some extra things I picked up as supplements since my injury..
THE ULTIMATE NUTRITIEN DENSE SHAKE
1 scoop of greens-- Green Vibrance ($75 on amazon)
1 scoop of collagen-- neocell 🍊 flavor ($11 on Amazon)
1tbsp. Fish oil-- THE very finest fish oil by Carlson ($42 on amazon)
Then just add ice and water! I like to put 1 banana in mine as well.

With my injury my little scoot scoot allows me to get around petty independently .. and ?ly! It gets the job done for now! It helps me keep my spirits high as well, allowing me to do more. Not to mention the laughs we got while doing this shoot with @sophiemarie5 ? all fun and games here!

Work your way up to a handstand..
Step one: strengthen upper body with pushups, overhead should press, and downdog.
Step two: get comfortable with being upside down.. start with feet elevated up go in to down dog postion (body should be in L-shape")
Step three: get comfortable and stable being upside down. Stand close facing wall, place your hands on ground about 12" away from wall then kick your legs up to wall. Hold for as long as you can then step back down.

Throw back workout!
Cold and icy.. still can get that workout in.
Find a step or bench, there are so many functional moves you can do! These moves are advanced plyos however every exercise can be modified. As identified below..
1. box jump >> tuck jump off ground>> regular straight leg jump off group
2. Single leg box jump>> single leg hop off ground>> explosive step up( as seen in video 3)

Trainer tip: SINGLE LEG EXERCISES
Or single side Exercises in general.. big fan!
This is where you find your imbalances. Everyone has a dominant side. For example if you do regular squats all the time with heavy weight you are unknowingly going to favor that dominant side. It continues to get stronger while the weaker side stays weak! Don't believe me.. take a video of your squat from behind. You might see your pelvis is shifted one direction. Start training single leg/arm to maximize your results.

Traveling with a broken foot is not easy let me tell ya!
My injury occurred on Wednesday in California.. I was held in hospital for 2 days after my emergency surgery. They finally gave me the okay to travel back home. To prevent bloood clots I have to try to keep moving as much as possible.. however this is difficult with all the pain!
Perfect example of an excellent use of theragun. I can use this on my whole body to promote bloood circulation. It seems to be helping 😚

Stretch Tips: two kinds of stretches
1. Dynamic
2. Static
Dynamic stretches means you are moving while stretching.. this you should do before a workout.
Ex: leg swings, inch worms, high knees
Static stretches means holding a stretch for 20+ seconds.. this you should do after a workout or any other time.
Ex: holding hamstring stretch, hold childs pose
