There are 7 pillars of Self Care, which include social, recreational, mental, emotional, environmental, physical, and spiritual.๐งโโ๏ธ๐ Social is building relationships with others using healthy boundaries and regular connection. So spend time with your favorite people who lift you up! ๐จโ๐ฉโ๐งโ๐ง๐ Recreational is setting aside time for new experiences, hobbies, or activities. Therefore, spend time doing what you love to do!โต๏ธ๐ Mental is creating a healthy mindset through creativity and mindfulness. Try focusing on what is going on in your own life in that present moment (journaling has helped me with this)!๐โค๏ธ Emotional is using healthy coping strategies to take care of yourself. For example, dealing with daily stresses in a healthy manner such as affirmations, or speaking to someone you trust!๐ฅน๐ฅฐ Environmental is taking pride and care in the places around you. Decluttering the space you live or work in is like decluttering your mind. It may not be fun during (to clean) but it will be worth the feeling afterwards!๐งน๐ก Physical is keeping up with nutrition and exercise. Try to eat 3 meals a day or when your body tells you it is hungry, work out when you are able, and make sure to get 7-9 hours of rest every night!๐๐ค๐ถโโ๏ธ Spiritual is doing an activity that gives your life a sense of meaning. Make time for new experiences that give you joy!๐๐
