A girl like me who gets fucked over by almost EVERYONE regularly can’t trust easily. I have 2 people in my life I can trust completely and that’s it. One friend I’ve known for 20 years and my grandfather. Anyway, a girl I barely know who works at my doctors office was supposed to watch my dog for 3 weeks for me after surgery because I can’t walk him and I don’t have a back yard. We were supposed to get together tonight so I could drop him off with her. Guess what happened? She fucking ghosted me. Yes, I know how silly my fear of needles is coming from a girl with tattoos and piercings. However, it’s different when you’re sticking the needle in your own skin to give yourself shots required by the doctor before surgery. Why do I need the shots before surgery? I have a history of deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolisms and they don’t want me developing new clots. Basically, if I don’t give myself these shots, my risk of dying due to developing a clot increases a lot and the doctor will refuse to do my surgery. I don’t have an option to not give myself the shot, but I don’t know how I’m going to get through this first one later tonight.
