When I need a break or to quiet my constantly racing mind, I grab my camera, go out in nature and put my phone on silent. It’s for me the best kind of meditation, not talking to anyone for hours, just listening and observing, being reminded of how small we are in this world. And I love it. 🙏
Happy Holidays 🥰
Don't mind me, I'm just out on another boardwalk enjoying life, **being grateful for life and all of you and your support!** I just heard some panthers lol 🐆📸

– Annie Leibovitz
There's both pros and cons to bring your camera with you everywhere. Some days it is a challenge to not think about work. Being self employed, doing photography, videography and content creation, you are always looking for that next epic image or video. But sometimes it is important to stop thinking like that, and instead just use your camera for fun. Take the photos you want, not what you think your audience will like. You started for you, not for them.
Some days I even leave my phone at home or in the car to make sure there's no distractions. **Just me, mother nature and my camera.** And I absolutely cherish those moments.
What's your biggest challenge when it comes to the creative process?

**“Skill in photography is acquired by practice, and not by purchase.”**
-Percy W. Harris
I love this quote. I've been asked so many times "How do I start with photography?" or "Will this camera make me an amazing photographer?" and my favorite "Your camera takes really good pictures".
The one thing I can recommend is - practice. Get out there and capture the world. Use what you have. Even if you think you don't have a good camera, most of you do. In your pocket! Newer phones are an amazing tool to practice your skill, finding interesting angles, practicing looking for images that others might not see. There's even apps you can use to practice editing and coloring images! But yes, ofc, having a good camera will definitely help you in the long run, but it's definitely not the only thing you need to take a good picture. You need to practice, you need to put in the work and you need to find your creative style by trying out different things.
So, when are you going out to photograph next time? 😏📸
**“What I like about photographs is that they capture a moment that’s gone forever, impossible to reproduce.”**
– Karl Lagerfeld 📸
How often do you look at photos and instantly remember that particular moment? Whenever I visit my family and bring out the old photo albums, it's like I'm brought back in time. There are some photos from our family vacation. One is a photo of me and my two siblings. We're standing tall on some logs, all of us pretending to be the Statue of Liberty (why - I have no idea lol). But looking at this photo, it's like I can clearly hear the sounds of the sea, the swallows chirping while hunting insects, the smells of fresh cut grass, the taste of fresh strawberries, the cooling breeze against my tan summer skin.. It's amazing. And beautiful. I will forever be grateful to have these photos. My next mission is to make sure I have them all digitized before something happens to them. 😅🥰
Watch my latest episode! 🎬 I packed down all my gear and drove to Everglades to visit Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary, an amazing boardwalk with tons of wildlife. And I am so excited to finally capture a Barred Owl on both video and photo 🦉 Along with other amazing wildlife.
Watch it and let me know what you think 📸

BTS from when I was filming my next upcoming OFTV episode - in Everglades! But what do I bring with me when I'm out and about, filming or photographing? 📸
- My Lumix S5IIX, my main camera that I use for photos and videos
- Sony ZV-E1 to film myself filming/photographing lol
- Tripod for the Sony camera
- Phone gimbal / tripod in case I need to film with my phone too
- My IPhone
- Mics, I use the RØDE Wireless Go II
- Backpack to pack everything in
- Rain ponchos, you never know when it will start raining in Florida
- Bug spray
- Sunscreen
- Extra batteries and SD-cards
- ND filter
- Water and snacks, you never know when you'll get hangry
- When it's extra hot I bring an extra shirt to change if I get too sweaty
If it gets heavy and bulky? Yes. **Is it worth it? 1000000%!** ✨
What do you bring with you on your photo trips?
**"The more pictures you see, the better you are as a photographer.”**
– Robert Mapplethorpe
Yesterday, a fan asked me for tips on getting started with photography—a question I often receive. My biggest piece of advice? **Just go out and do it.** You are the only one who can go out there and practice. A close friend and mentor once shared a valuable lesson with me during a challenging time: **"If you want to be the best basketball player, you must attend practice, not just play in the games. The same principle applies to photography. Without putting in the effort and practicing, you won't win your games."** This advice has stayed with me ever since.
So, if you're eager to delve into photography, the first step is, of course, to get a camera. You might wonder, "But which camera should I use?" My response is simple: any camera. The camera is merely a tool for capturing incredible photographs; the real photographer is you. ✨
Therefore, if you're ready to start your photography journey, I have one task for you: go out and start taking photographs - daily! 📸
If you haven't already, make sure to check out my latest episode on OFTV when me and my beautiful friend @sunneebuilds are doing a swimwear photoshoot for her social media and spicy pages 😏

**“If you are out there shooting, things will happen for you. If you’re not out there, you’ll only hear about it.”**
– Jay Maisel
This quote is definitely something I carry with my daily. You won't get better if you do not put in the work. To get good at something you have to practice. 📸✨
This is the look on my face whenever I'm waiting for my tasty drink or food to come in.. 😆
If you've been following me for a while, you know that I **L O V E** food. The perks of doing food photography for businesses is that you also get to eat a lot of it - usually it's so much I get to take the leftovers home. A win-win 😏
What's your favorite cuisine? 🍜
Before moving to Florida I did spend a lot of time in Sedona. It's definitely one of my favorite places on earth. The magical red rocks, the vortexes, the nature.. it's just amazing. And if I ever needed my yearly dose of snow, I just drove there during winter time to see it and then go back to the heat again 😂
Have you ever visited Sedona? If so, which hiking trail is your favorite one?
There's just something about brick walls and rough edges, the more urban the better 📸
Name a location anywhere in the world I should put on my bucket list to go photograph!
If you haven't... make sure to check out my latest episode where me and my beautiful friend @sunnee.moonvip are kayaking in the amazing springs here in Florida. **We saw MONKEYS (!!!!)**, manatees, gators, turtles, birds and so much more.. Watch it and let me know what you think 🥰

Can't believe it's over a year ago I took this selfie - time flies! 📸
But what I do love is to look back at photos and remember the small moments. This specific photo was taken in St George, Utah, where a friend invited me to come and stay over the weekend at this magical place in the middle of nowhere. I met so many new friends and had one of my most memorable weekends of my life. 🥰✨
Maybe you already know her, but if you don’t, let me introduce you to my beautiful and gorgeous friend @tiffanythemetaphysicist She specializes in metaphysics and paranormal, so her @oftv episodes about the spirit world and it’s secrets! And, she has very, very, very nice content to share with you. You won’t regret it 😏✨
One thing I absolutely love about Florida is how wild it is - both animals and people! 😂🐊
After posting this photo on my story yesterday I had a bunch of guys asking if it is real gators, and yes, they are very real. This was my first wild hike in the Everglades and I was almost crapping my pants. On this hike you have to literally **step over gators** that are laying across the trail tanning. I think I saw 30-40 gators total on this hike.
Such beautiful creatures, but yes, you should always pay attention and be careful. They are after all animals and mother nature can sometimes be unpredictable. 😘
What's the wildest hike or nature experience you have done?
Have you ever had a horrible day photographing out in nature? Nope, me neither. Not even when it's pouring rain. That is part of the experience and I love every second of it 📸🌱
Can't wait to get out on a beautiful, peaceful boardwalk again 🐊
I rented the Leica Q2 to try it out and it definitely didn’t disappoint! And this location is perfect to take beautiful photos. So if you haven’t already, check it out and let me know what you think 📸✨
