Well it has been such a crazy week here and I've been a little bit distracted with life. I made the decision to not continue in my college program as I wasn't enjoying it and it just didn't seem smart to continue to pay for something I was just not feeling. I sat down with my advisor and, decided that it was best to just not take the 2nd semester! So, my plan is to work instead and figure out what I want to do! So, needless to say I've been a bit distracted this week!!!!

Such a fun overnight in the city! After our pool time we got ready and headed out for dinner but first, a walk around the city to check out The Well..a new cool building that is like indoor/outdoor and in there was a place called Arcadia Earth which was an interactive walm through about the planet and sustainability. After that we went for dinner at a place called Onoir which is dining in the dark...complete pitch black. The waiters are all blind and they lead you in, help you get seated and serve your meal. Parts are "suprise" and parts are not. You order before you go into the dark. I has suprise meat as my app which was curry chicken and rice. Then my main was filet mignon (sliced thank god) and dessert was chocolate cake. The waiter serves everything to your shoulder. I had to use my hands as a few times I took my fork to mouth and the fork was empty. LOL All in all it was a very eye opening (pun intended) experience and I would highly recommend it. What I wasn't expecting was the sensory overload that kicked in toward the end..every laugh from the dark or clank of a fork on a plate of somebody searching for their food was ap loud! I jokes that I was ready to get on my hands and knees and crawl out lol but our waiter came, assembled us into a conga line the same way we entered and took us back to the light! All in all the break was nice and back to your regularly scheduled content again!!! Hahahaha thanks for coming on this journey with me!
We headed into the city today for an overnight adventure! So far I've had an amazing brunch, read my book in the lounge chair in our room, went for a pool and hot tub and ended it in a eucalyptus sauna! I feel sooo relaxed! Time to get dressed and explore the city before heading to dinner which is dining in the DARK! I'm not sure how i feel about it but I'll let you know! 💋
Hope Everyone has had an amazing Christmas! It was the perfect family day here. Slept in a bit. My mom always tells us stories about how Noah and I would wake them up 5am or earlier to go see what Santa brought so they are now enjoying being able to sleep in. They were actually the ones waking us up this year and probably the last few years HAHAHA We then spent the rest of the day relaxing and watching movies. They were playing Harry Potter so we watched some of that and, next we are moving on the the Hunger Games and watching the newest one first as its a prequel! Its kind of our Christmas week tradition to pick a movie series and watch all of them. Tonight after dinner we went out for a drive (in our PJs) and visited a neighborhood that it know for it's Christmas lights! It's another yearly tradition we have. I'm taking a break from laziness to post and wish you all a Happy Holiday!
It's Christmas EVE!!! I'm finally home from the barn after a full day of work and so looking forward to enjoying the next few days relaxing and spending time with my family! Thank you all so much for the well wishes! I spent a lot of time sleeping and recovering and I'm feeling so much better. I still have a bit of the sniffles but was feeling up to going to the barn tonight for my lesson and my coach was fine with it as long as I wore a mask.. her exact words were "I mean if you're dying stay home....but otherwise come" lol
Noah and my mom are both already symptom free and testing negative so I'm hoping I will be soon as well!

Covid positive test! Boooo I started feeling a bit yucky last night but was still negative. My symptoms are not terrible so I consider myself lucky! Thankfully I shot some cute content before testing positive so I'll just drop that over the next few days and maybe go with some past content that hasn't been posted here! Isolating is gonna be the worst part of the whole thing!
These weekends go by SOOOOO fast! I can't believe tomorrow is Monday already! It was an eventful weekend here... my brother got sick on Saturday and, tested positive for Covid...yuck..just when we thought it was all done. He's not feeling too bad but, is isolating just to be safe. Me and the fam tested negative so far so, here is to hoping it stays that way with all the holiday festivities coming up!
