I’d been wanting a pet for a long time, and after a lot of thought, I decided to adopt a kitty from a shelter. I truly believed I could give him love and a warm home...

But sadly, we just couldn’t connect — he kept running away, hiding, scratching, and biting me 😪

It was really hard to accept, but I had to return him — simply because he’d be safer there, with people who already understood him 💔

Some time later, I decided to try again — and now I have a Scottish Fold kitty. We connected right away, and now every morning starts with warm cuddles.

I think we found each other 🐾❤️

In the morning I closed a couple of tasks I've been putting off for a long time - and it's such a high feeling when my brain finally says “good job” 😅

Sometimes there’s nothing I crave more than a plate of hot boiled potatoes with dill, or a bowl of real borscht — with garlic and black bread

And honestly, for me, that’s no less satisfying than oysters or steak. It’s a different kind of joy — you just can’t compare them 😌

I don’t play that often, but I really love it. In moments like that, there are no thoughts about work, stress, or my phone — just pure focus 😌

It was hot, I was all sweaty, my hair kept falling out of the ponytail, and my arms were shaking from the effort… but it was the kind of exhaustion that feels good

On days like that, I feel especially connected to my body
