Update again: I spoke too soon and about an hour after I posted this I was in the hospital with a pretty severe complication. I’m on my way home now and hoping it’s smooth sailing from here on out but it was a very scary ordeal.
Little update - I'm not able to speak still after surgery so it'll be a typed life update :) recovery has been rough but I can do it and I'll be okay! Thank you everyone for the support and well wishes 💕 I'm in the worst part of recovery now, where the pain hits a peak then hopefully I'll turn a corner after this.
It's been hard but definitely not the worst thing I've ever been through. Honestly the body aches, fever and headache have been worse than my throat pain but apparently that's normal after this particular surgery. I will get through this and be back better than ever soon :) I'm very hopeful this puts me on the track to healing from autoimmune encephalitis and you guys will see me healthier than I've ever been before. I am so ready for the day when I can tell everyone I'm in remission!
