This dress has a memory attached to it.
I wore it to a golf event where I drove around on a golf cart with a keg and served beers to golfers. I got into a huge fight with my boyfriend the night before, our relationship had run its course and I knew it. So I got lit, and my friend that was working the event with me drove me home. When my boyfriend arrived at the house a few hours later. I told him I wanted to end the relationship. That was over 10 years ago.
To be completely honest... I think this is the first time I've worn it since.
Crazy...

Dear Subscribers,
Today while getting high in the bathtub I made a decision. I decided that I am going to get a Sprinter Van.
I've lowkey fantasized about it for years, seemed like that lifestyle would work well for me, especially with all the travel I typically do. I wouldn't do a crazy rebuild. just keeping it simple, with a bed for 2, and most importantly, plenty of closet space for tours.
Last year a friend let me and my partner borrow hers while we were visiting Maine, and I really fell in love with it. I've driven vans before and they always feel difficult to maneuver, the sprinter felt speedy by comparison, not to mention the comfort when traveling with our two big ass dogs.
Anyways... I'm getting a sprinter I'll post pics of the rebuild
#vanlife coming soon

Do we like color or black and white better?
The window light coming through my airbnb was so beautiful seemed like a good spot to make a video.

I was disappointed to have to move out of my studio here in town. But I now am able to utilize this spot in Uptown. I still had to put all my stuff in storage. But Now at least I have a location. Here is a little artsy video clip I made in the new spot.
"Rainy day, dream away
Let the sun take a holiday
Flowers bathe, and city children play
Lay back and groove on a rainy day."
Gonna smoke a fat one now...

Pics by @clarencescottphotos I did the editing on these and I was having difficulty coming up with something I liked. But anyways here is the set! Hope everyone is staying cool!
Last night my boo and I went into the French Quarter to have dinner with his old highschool friend. We haven't been to the French Quarter together since before the pandemic. And in general we avoid it because its the heart of the city and during the cooler months its swarming with wasted tourists. The ONLY time we both venture into the quarter is when we have guests from out of town that specifically want to see it.
Tourism slows way down during the summer, its hot and muggy, so people are naturally considering cooler destinations for their summer vacations. This leaves places like the French Quarter deserted compared to its winter crowds and the streets and bars are mostly occupied by the actual residents that live here and don't have the time or money to leave during the summer.
While waiting for his friend to show up. we ran into some musicians that my partner used to play shows with many years ago. Turns out they were playing a show a block away from where we were having dinner. So afterwards we walked down Decatur street to see some class act musicians play Gypsy guitar.
It was a rainy and cooler evening so it was even more quiet then usual. It reminded me why its such an incredible place to live. A place where you can walk down the street on a Wednesday night and see awesome music. All you have to do is be there.
Now reading a book about the history of the Red Light District of New Orleans.
Just woke up selfie! It's a gorgeous day! I'm meeting up with an old friend today for lunch and probably shooting more videos for y'all! What are your plans today?
