The full system of vocal registration consists of several distinct registers.
From the lowest to the highest they are:
Vocal Fry
Chest Voice
Head Voice and…
Whistle Register.
But certainly the two most important registers are chest voice and head voice. I’m definitely a Chest Voice singer myself.
Chest Voice refers to the notes at the bottom of your range.
They all share a similar strong, brassy sound.
