Anywayyssss something that’s been on my mind is my hair !!! Recently I had a moment where I looked in the mirror and I was just like.. omg ? My hair is like, getting kind of longish ?? and ok for those who don’t understand - I’ve bleached my hair before - however I didn’t do it right at all and I was dumb about it and my hair was like totally fried and wouldn’t dry when it got wet and wouldn’t grow at all - in fact I was constantly cutting it because of how dead and gross it was !! so after years of this bleach damage and constantly dying my hair different colors I always regretted I had this deranged thought of like “I’m gonna dye my hair a color that I can’t get out unless I have to bleach it so I physically can’t change it or dye it and I’m made to leave it alone until it gets better” because I really wanted to grow it out. So I … in my infinite wisdom … dyed my hair black !!! ;p it was black for like maybe a little over a year and I hated it sooooo much I seriously did lmfao I regretted it the minute I did it .. it did NOT feel like me in any way at all. Like I’ve dyed my hair before and not liked it? But this was so different . I just did not feel like me in my own skin - kinda like I was wearing a costume I guess? So eventually I bleached it all outttttt ( again ) but it had been black for like i said maybe a little over a year at this point so it was a lot healthier and could handle the bleaching so it was like coollll yknow. And I don’t remember why but I dyed my hair blue and bought 2 big bottles of blue dye and 1 pink thinking : ‘I’ll keep dying my hair blue until my hair is grown out long enough to dye the ends pink !’ I planned wayyyyyy too ahead of things because we’re now at the point where I have maybe a little over half a bottle of blue dye, and the full bottle of pink dye : and I want to bleach my hair 😭 so I’m thinking I’m going to make myself to use the rest of the blue dye. I maybe dye it like once a month? Once every two months? So if I just use up all the blue dye my hair should be grown out quite a bit - more to the length that I want it to be at than it is now at least ??? And healthier so it should be fine to bleach hopefully… and then I’ll just have pink dye for. Idk. Whatever I guess lmfao. Idk. Maybeeeee I’ll do pink before bleaching but eh. I honestly just want longe blonde hairrrrre like so so so so badly part of me just wants to say fuck it and bleach my hair and order extensions 😭 ommmgggggg talk me out of it !! 😭 I just need to hang in there lol maybe I’ll trim my hair or something just to get *SOMETHINGGGGG* out of my system of like … I NEED TO CHANGE MY HAIR lmfao. Truth be told… I’m a bit burnt out on the blue hair… HOWEVER here’s the thing… I still have some blue dye left AND I’m trying to grow out my hair. So my current plan (my goal is to go back to super bleach blonde / almost white) is to keep dying my hair blue until the bottle runs out (because it doesn’t cause any damage to my hair) and hopefully I can make it through that chunk of time and my hair will be a bit longer / more so around the length I want it to be… hopefully… and then once I’m out of blue dye I’ll wait for my hair to fade as much as possible over a huge span of time (and it’s probably gonna look kinda gross and extremely faded for a bit 😭) AND THEN (and this is the scary part) I can bleach it… I’m excited and although I’m tired of the blue hair I know I’m not ready for the bleach quite yet… it’s a lot a lot a lot of upkeep with purple shampoo and toner and constantly having to do roots and trying to keep it healthy and not incredibly dry… but blonde is my most favorite hair color I’ve ever had !!! So yea that’s the plan 😂 thank you for coming to my Ted talk 😇
